The Olympics.

I swore to myself and to anyone who'd listen that I wasn't going to watch the summer Olympics in China. I was going to protest in my own miniscule way. I was going to do it for political reasons...

It's been 4 weeks since I've been surrounded by the French language and today, while I was passed out on the couch from travel, TH had it on. And I became hooked. Especially when men's swimming was on. I mean, who wouldn't, right? And since the broadcast is in French, I've decided that having it on is okay because it's for educational purposes only.

While I totally understand the desire to protest, I can't turn it off either. I love sports. Especially sports for the sake of sport. (or for the sake of learning French!)

The Olympics are awesome. I totally support their educational value. :) Glad you made it home OK!

I sadly haven't seen a lick of it yet... though it's only because we don't have a television - or cable. I like to watch the gymnastics - and the diving.

Hope you had a great trip!!!

Nothing to do with wet men in tight suits, right? ;-)

He. He. For educational purposes only, of course. I'm sucked in too.
