One down. One to go.

TH's first sock is done. One can learn so much from each sock they knit. This time I made some modifications from the original pattern...

1) I’m doing these toe-up following Wendy's Generic Toe-Up detailed sock pattern.
2) I CO 60 sts with US 1.5 DPNs and did a short row toe.
3) Then followed the Thuja patten: K the entire 1st row. For the 2nd row, K4, P1 over 30 sts and K the other 30. Rotate.
4) Did a short row heel so that the pattern on the 30 sts is on the front/top of the sock.
5) Did the pattern around the leg.
6) I switched to a smaller size needle for the cuff (US 1).
7) Finished with the EZ sewn BO.

Luckily, TH and I have similar sized feet so I can model them for ya'll. Off to start sock #2.

I LOVE the thuja pattern! It's easy but looks kind of classy, you know? Well done! Good luck with the second one.

It's looking great! Now you have to do the second one. I don't know about you, but second sock syndrome drives me nutso. I knit it, but I complain the entire time. ;-)
