Ode to Fondue.

A little fondue related pleasure reading to share. I've recently learned that when you get to the unappetizing remains of the melted cheese and wine at the bottom of the pot, crack in an egg and mix. Voila....scrambled eggs a la fondue.

What a great idea! I usually just toss that bottom stuff....next time I make fondue I will have to try this1

My Savoyard neighbor always makes us eat the egg too (as if you´d want to after eating all THAT). He always insists because he says that´s what a real Savoyard does!
