How to gain weight in NYC.

I'm learning this right now. First, you start out by eating a typical American breakfast...eggs with corned beef hash was yesterday. Today, I had a bagel with (too much) cream cheese and lox. Due to these heavy breakfasts, we've been skipping lunch or just grabbing a slice of pizza. Last night, we chowed down at Aqua Grill. My dad and I shared oysters from the east coast. This was my second time eating oysters and I was so looking forward to seeing them squirm once I squirted lemon juice on them, but they were already dead. Total disappointment. Tonight's dinner was at Felidia. My dad's a fan of her cooking show so we decided to dine at her flagship restaurant. Super tasty Italian food. We were hoping she'd be there tonight and stop by our table asking how everything tasted. In our dreams, I suppose. Many years ago, I ate at one of Emeril Lagasse's restaurants in New Orleans and, to our surprise, he was there that night which was pretty darn exciting. He wiped the rims of the plates before they were served. Oh, and in between meals, we've been snacking on cheese sticks and cheese puffs from Murray's.

Till tomorrow's meals...

Oooh, I am so jealous of your bagel! I have never had a NYC bagel and you know, I'm a connoisseur of sorts. :) Hope your visit is going well! Happy eating.
