In honor of Haute-Savoie food.

Interested in learning more about the local dishes found in my region of France? Check out this NYT article. Makes my mouth water for some stinky cheese. Plus, I'm excited to see that the author mentioned my fav "all things cheesy" restaurant in Annecy, Le Freti.

Knowing very little about France, I now know where Haute couture and Haute cuisine come from. Duh!

I'm not sure why I'm still impressed with other Americans living abroad, but I am. Maybe it's because I understand how different it is, but that most other people do it without the comforts I have! I bet France is beautiful. I've yet to go, but I did visit the German alps in December.

Anyways, thanks for the comment on my blog. It's funny how such a simple scarf is so special! My son keeps bugging me for one now.
