Slacker.

I haven't been writing too much on the blog lately because there just hasn't been a lot to say. I blame it on the crappy weather. Rain, downpour, rain, thunder, lightening, and more rain. Enough already.

Life in France is going well. This past weekend, Darin ran 18K while I biked along him. He's training for the ultra-trail tour of Mont Blanc. We were planning on staying 2 nights in Chamonix and didn't think to make hotel reservations until this past weekend. After about the 10th call to a hotel, we soon learned that we should have made reservations last year. Most of everything was full, but we were finally able to book a room with a shared bath. At one point, I was willing to sleep in our car while TH was out on the trail. I also started running again after a 2 year hiatus. I don't plan on joining my husband on this trail run, I just hope to finish each jog sans shinsplints.

Good for you on the running! I really need to start up again. And I agree - I am completely over this rain :)
