Snowshoeing.

This past weekend, Darin and I went snowshoeing at Le plateau de Glieres. It was a lot of fun. I'm realizing that I'm no longer a fan of winter sports that require skis. Though I will give cross-country skiing a second try and my husband would really like me to go downhill skiing with him at least once this winter. Gimme a helmet and let me go down the green runs and I'm all good.

At one point we stopped for a little snack, some hot tea, and a little rock climbing. For him, of course. And, yes, he took off his snowshoes before climbing.

I would love to try snowshoeing. I don't care for skiing, either. I would try snowboarding, but I'm pretty sure I'd break something.

Hey, it looks like winter over there! We've had a week of highs in the 60's and low 70's. People are wearing flipflops over here. (Not to brag...)

That does looks really fun. I love snow, but we only get a couple of inches at a time that melt the next day.

Oh my gosh. It's so beautiful there! I'm a high-alps person stranded in Deep South, USA so where you are looks like heaven from here! Looks like you guys had gorgeous weather too!

Happy knitting! My Lizzie project is on hold for a few more weeks, but I hope to get back to it soon.
