I've just been listening to your Pavarotti post - beautiful. No doubt you are wondering who I am? My name is Ann and I am Penny's mother, reading/listening to your blog in Australia. Your knitting group sounds rather like the book club of which I was a member, lots of friendship and talk but not much action.
Beautiful isn't it. I saw him live in Sydney many many years ago. Gave me goosebumps.
