You say it's your birthday...

Today, I can now tell others that I'm in my mid-30s?! Yuck. I'm realizing that birthdays just don't feel the same anymore. Is it because I live thousands of miles away from my family and close friends?

This weekend, we're relaxing and doing anything I want to do. Yippee. We started the morning with me opening up birthday cards and presents. Soon, we're off to the outdoor market which I don't think we've done together since we've moved here. Later, we're going to see a movie and then dine at a restaurant for some mussels and fries. Something we've both been craving since we were in Corsica in September.

My birthday gift from TH is a long weekend in Prague which we're doing in May. I can't wait.

Does this picture make anyone else want to hop on over to NYC for some Magnolia Bakery cupcakes?

You're going to Prague in May? I am SO jealous - I love Prague! Went there in 2002 and am dying to go back.
I'm glad you had a happy birthday!

Ah, you're going for a long weekend in PRAGUE! Now I'm jealous... That's a city that I desperately want to visit, but whenever we've tried to put together travel plans, it's never seemed like the right time of year. But I'm waiting impatiently for the right moment to show up...

Have a fabulous time! May should be the perfect month for a visit there... Oh, and happy belated birthday! I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner.

OH god that cupcake is a little bite of heaven. This new cupcake bakery opened in Burbank near where I used to live, and it's DA BOMB. For Chris's 40th birthday last month, I bought margarita cupcakes. They were margarita flavor with a shot of tequila in them. To top it off, lime green icing and a little bit of salt on the icing along with a slice of candied lime. OMG they were SO GOOD. I think I have to run there today...the bakery has such a fitting name too: Yummy Cupcakes :)

Happy belated. There is a place in Los Angeles called Sprinkles that makes the best cupcakes ever.
